本校十位中四至中五級修讀視覺藝術科的同學参加了由教育局主辦的「北京藝術文化探索之旅」，除了到訪798 藝術區、宋慶齡故居、琉璃廠文化街及大柵欄，亦參訪了中央美術學院及中央工藝美術學院附屬中學，亦有幸到國家大劇院觀賞京劇。同學在此行中增加了對北京藝術、歷史、文化及經濟發展等各方面的認識，提升國民身份認同，獲益良多。

"本校辯論隊在2023/24年度香港辯論超級聯賽中，先後與喇沙、上智、聖保羅書院、迦密柏雨、蔡繼有、何傳耀及耀道對賽，最終以六勝一負佳績榮獲甲組冠軍。代表本校出戰七場比賽的同學包括去年中五的林子恩(3次佳辯)、關諾瑤(2次佳辯)、胡凱欣(1次佳辯)、田穎曈，中四的江卓旂、黃梓晴、招貝殷、彭浩森、郭恩澤以及周正男。 9月28日，本校再與另一賽區的冠軍德蘭中學爭逐聯賽總冠軍殊榮，結果以5比0獲勝，成為本年度的「聯賽總冠軍」。4位上陣同學為田穎曈、關諾瑤、林子恩以及胡凱欣，其中胡凱欣榮獲「決賽最佳辯論員」獎項。"

本校兩隊學生參加創意編程發明比賽「Do your:bit 挑戰賽」(中學組) 均奪得優異獎
"本校兩隊學生運用STEAM課堂的編程知識及工程技巧，設計出能解決日常生活問題的智能產品。其中一組學生使用傳感器、KOI鏡頭及人工智能技術，製作出能為垃圾分類智能垃圾桶。他們的作品在由BBC micro:bit教育基金會、英國文化協會、聯合國兒童基金會共同舉辦的創意編程發明比賽「Do your:bit 挑戰賽」(中學組) 均奪得優異獎。獲獎學生更獲邀於2025年1月前往英國倫敦參與「英國教育科技博覽會」(Bett Show 2025)，向國際教育界及創科企業分享本校STEAM教育成果。

The 43rd Athletics Meet finished smoothly at Kwai Chung Sports Ground. All of the athletes tried their utmosts to acheive the best results and 5 records were broken this year. "恭喜本校地理科科主任蔡曉嵐老師早前參加了由教育局課程發展處德育、公民及國民教育組舉辦的「生活事件」教學簡報設計比賽，在中學組賽事中奪得優異獎，得獎作品是「做個走塑達人」，並獲邀出席價值觀教育年度頒獎典禮2023/2024暨「我的行動承諾」2024/25啟動禮。 本比賽藉設計與「仁愛」、「孝親」及「團結」相關的教學簡報，促進教師對以上首要價值觀和態度的理解，並思考如何結合不同學習情境及運用多元學與教策略，幫助學生認識和認同相關價值觀和態度，並推動他們於日常生活中實踐。"

在中秋佳節期間，公民及國民教育組與中文科合辦了猜燈謎活動。活動中，《憲法》及《基本法》大使介紹了燈謎的歷史，讓同學們對中國傳統節日文化有了更深入的認識。同學們在小息和午飯時段踴躍參加，聚集在有蓋操場猜燈謎。獎品具備節日特色，包括中秋傳統的棋子餅、豬籠餅，以及應節水果如柚子和楊桃，還有精美的月球燈、燈籠、零食和飲品等，同學們都樂在其中。

Three Form 6 students (Lam Wan Chi, Tsang Ka Lee and Tsang On Ki) participated in the Generation Hope Campaign 2024 organized by Save the Children Hong Kong. Their compassion and persistent attitude drive them to get deeply involved in the project, which enables them to achieve excellent results. Ultimately, they were selected to represent Hong Kong youth in the Thailand Exchange Tour and the UN Environment Programme: SEA of Solutions (SoS) 2024 International Conference in Bangkok from 18th to 19th September 2024. SoS is a flagship partnerships event towards solving plastic pollution at source. In the conference, Wan Chi went the extra mile by being an ambassador to promote the power of youth as change agent in environmental conservation. All participants also engaged in cultural exchange activities and they gained significant benefits in this exchange tour.

本校50多名中四級地理及中史科同學參加由教育局主辦的「同行萬里」內地交流計劃，由6位老師帶領參與「湖北省武漢、宜昌文化與三峽水利建設之旅」。五日行程包括紅樓、湖北省博物館、楚河漢街、東湖、黃鶴樓、三峽大壩、三峽工程截流紀念園、三峽工程展覽館、武漢大學、武漢高速鐵路職業技能訓練段等。同學除增加學科知識外，亦親身體驗國家發展的成果，並加深國民身分認同。

"本校中四級學生林靜詩 (Betsy)，經面試入選國泰航空公司主辦的 ""I Can Fly""「飛躍理想」計劃，成為300位學員之一。在為期半年的訓練中，她亦表現優秀，於七月與另外29位學員獲保送到澳洲阿德萊德學習駕駛小型飛機，獲益良多。
Betsy Lam, a Form 4 student of our school, was selected by Cathay Pacific Airways for the ""I Can Fly"" program. After six months of training, her outstanding performance granted her a chance to Adelaide, Australia in July to learn how to fly a small aircraft.

It is my honor to be one of the 300 members of the Cathay I Can Fly Programme 2024. The journey has come to an end, but not the end of my aviation journey. In the past 6 months, I explored the beauty of aviation by having ground school training in Cathay City, visiting different aviation facilities in Hong Kong, and participating in an aviation experimental trip in Adelaide. I also completed a social service project with my team, which allowed teenagers in Hong Kong to have hands-on experience in aviation.
I am thankful that I had the chance to visit Adelaide, a city full of aviation atmosphere. I had my first flight on a DA-40, and I was also allowed to take over control during cruising. The experience was definitely memorable, and it further increased my interest in aviation. I can't wait to fly again and fly higher.

「全港中學生數碼科學影片製作比賽2023-24」的主題是「測試科學–日常生活中的可持續性」。參賽學生須自訂立研究課題，並在學校實驗室完成實驗以解決問題。學生亦要提交一段兩分鐘的影片及一份實驗報告，以展示他們的研究過程和科學傳意技巧。本校派出兩支中三學生隊伍參加比賽，其中A 隊奪得初中組優異獎 (第四名)。他們的視頻作品如下:
The theme of Digi-Science Video Production Competition for Hong Kong Secondary Schools 2023-24 is “Testing Science – Sustainability in Daily Life”. Participating students should decide their topic of investigation and complete the experimental work in the school laboratory to solve the problems. Students are also required to submit a two-minute video and an experimental report to show their investigative processes and scientific communication skills. Our school sent two teams of F.3 students to join the competition and Team A won the merit awards (4th place) in the Junior Secondary Division. Their work can be found below.

本校同學榮獲「認識憲法、基本法——與法治同行」全港中學演講比賽亞軍
"本校中三級蔡穎儒同學經過初賽及全港五十強複賽，於6月22日成功晉身善德基金會及新界校長會合辦的「認識憲法、基本法--與法治同行」演講比賽全港十強決賽，並榮獲初中組亞軍。而郭顯迅同學亦同樣晉身決賽，榮獲優異獎。本校是唯一有兩名同學晉身初中組決賽的學校。
在高中組比賽，本校亦有三位同學晉身全港五十強複賽，其中中五級林子恩獲優秀表現獎，胡凱欣及招貝殷亦獲評甲等獎。"

專為本校辯論新秀而設的初中辯論賽，於5月23日順利完成。今年有八位中一同學參賽，激辯「同學比老師幸福」還是「老師比同學幸福」。他們分別是甲方的潘琬喬、葉芯穎、劉巧蕎、鍾蕊琳，以及乙方的吳曉晴、賴柏澄、黎卓殷、劉泳醄。八人在辯論隊師兄姐中三的蔡穎儒、林頌唯、郭顯迅以及中二的張天惠、陳曉愉指導下，開了多次實體和網上會議商討辯題。最終由甲方獲勝，而乙方賴柏澄則獲評為最佳辯論員。

Student Leaders Tea Gathering 學生領袖茶聚
"一年一度的學生領袖茶聚於4月30日舉行，校長、副校長及老師與39位學生領袖一邊吃小食、一邊交流，讓我們直接了解學生擔任領袖的甜酸苦辣，也可就著校園環境和政策等話題輕鬆地交換意見，促進溝通，彼此都獲益良多。 The annual Student Leaders Tea Gathering was held on 30th April. The Principal, Vice-Principals and senior teachers chatted with 39 student leaders while having light refreshments. It was a precious opportunties for us to learn about students' first-hand experience and feelings on bein leaders, and to exchange ideas on school policies and various issues. It was an enjoyable and treasured moment. "

"Our F.5 students (胡凱欣, 周樂誼, 紀天恩) participated in the ""Innovative Technology Student Mentorship Program"" (創新科技學生師友計劃). They submitted STEAM project plans and showcased their inspiring idea on the topic “Use smart watches and mobile phones as heart rate monitoring and AED emergency shock equipment” (以智能手錶及手機作為心率監察及AED應急電擊設備”. They have been shortlisted to the second-round and were awarded the Certificate of Appreciation.

They have gained a lot from their active participation and outstanding performance in the six-month training process and were selected to join the Estonia and Scandinavia Exchange Experience Tour held during the Easter holidays. The following are their sharings. 陳奕祺：第一次踏上歐洲這片大陸，一切都是陌生、新奇的：清新的空氣，空曠的街道，尖頂紅磚的小屋，展現出西方獨特的美麗。沒有摩天大樓間的摩肩接踵，只有老城區裏的悠然漫步；沒有人聲鼎沸的酒樓聚會，只有輕聲細語的下午茶聚；沒有車水馬龍的塵世繁囂，只有零星散落的優雅靜謐。這種慢節奏的生活實在只有親身體驗過才明白當中的怡然自得，真是百考不如一行。 Traveling abroad for the first time, I find everything in Europe new and exhilarating. The fresh air, the pristine gravel pathways, and the charming red-brick houses all highlight the distinctive beauty of Northern Europe. The lifestyle here is vastly different from that in Hong Kong; people relish a leisurely pace, enjoying chatting in cafes, meandering through the Old Town, and socializing at gatherings. Enhanced by well-developed facilities and comprehensive services, there is a greater emphasis on personal and communal happiness. Overall, the tranquil and serene way of life here deeply captivates my heart. 中四周鉑軒：人生首次踏入歐洲，我可以親身了解北歐文化及生活，遇見北歐市民的友善，加上在俄語高中交流的同學，真的令我大開眼界。除此之外，北歐較重視家庭朋友的關係，有平凡的幸福和滿足。作為中學生的我，每日面對生活和功課壓力，他們的生活方式也啟發了我，要想方法在學習中成長，並珍惜每一分每一秒，享受自己擁有的一切。 It was the first time that I had been to northern Europe. I am grateful for the opportunity to have gained a better understanding of the Nordic culture and way of living. Interacting with warm-hearted Nordic citizens and chatting with the students at Tallinn Lasnamae Russian School truly broadened my horizons. Besides, I noticed that Nordic people place a strong emphasis on relationships with family members and friends. They find happiness in simple pleasures and often find time to relax themselves. As a secondary school student, I face countless pressure every day. Seeing the Nordic people’s approach to life and their personal growth gained through education, I have been inspired to cherish every minute and every second, and to truly appreciate everything I have."

"Our students visited the Stem Cell Research Lab of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Professor Tom Cheung introduced his research in the field and his students shared about the hardship of their research life. "In this workshop, students learnt the principles and skills to operate autopipette, centrifuge and colorimeter. "Students learnt the skills of wildlife filming and studied the ecosystem in Pui O and the Wetland Park under the guidance of our alumni Mr. James Kwok, a professional wildlife filming photographer. Apart from knowing more about wildlife in Hong Kong, they learnt to look for different types of animals for filming. They also acquired skills of filming animals, such as water buffaloes and birds, without disturbing their habitat by using a telescope and camera. 學生有機會在專業生態攝影師郭子祈校友的指導下拍攝野生動物，並通過拍攝了解貝澳的生態系統。 是次活動不僅讓學生更認識香港的野生動物，還讓他們掌握了在不干擾棲息地的情況下觀察和記錄不同種類動物 (例如水牛和鳥類) 的技巧。 "

SCC stage 聖誕音樂匯演於12月14日在十周年廣場舉行，分別有笛子、手風琴、小提琴等演出，更有無伴奏音樂隊唱出多首聖誕歌曲，祝願師生們聖誕快樂、蒙神賜福！
The Christmas music concert took place on 14th December at the Tenth Anniversary Plaza. It featured performances of instruments such as the accordion, flute and violin. The school’s a cappella team also performed several Christmas songs.

Our school is honored to have invited the renowned ceramic artist, Ms. Rosanna Li Wei Han, to share her insights on the relationship between art and life with all our students. After the assembly, she stayed behind to chat with senior students studying visual arts. It was a valuable opportunity for the students to have direct interaction with an artist, and they benefited greatly from her experience.

"Nine F.1-F.3 students formed three teams to participate in the competition. They designed and installed wind turbines using environmentally friendly materials to attain maximum power output. Each team wrote a report and produced a video clip to present their ideas. 本校中一級學生鄧少傑主演的短片《直到我看見彼岸》獲得第60屆金馬獎最佳劇情短片，早前與導演何思蔚及劇組人員到台灣出席頒獎典禮。
短片以屯門為背景，講述疫情解封復課，小六男生少傑面臨好友將遠赴澳洲的消息，想像遙遠的南半球彼岸，努力把握最後相處時光，期盼對方能將經常一起較勁的陀螺，把這份玩具與記憶一起帶到遠方。本劇的攝影簡約細膩，輕鐵一幕附有小男生獨白的心聲，拍出詩意的屯門。

本校中五級陳梓穎、黎家瑜、林韻芝、李欣洋、劉可欣及曾安琪參加由香港中文大學醫學院舉辦的「健康展覽報告比賽」，同學就著腸易激綜合症進行研究及撰寫報告，並向中大醫學院醫生及教授匯報，最終獲得銀獎，成績優異。
Six of our F.5 students took part in the Health Exhibition Presentation Competition held by the Medical Society of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The students wrote a research paper on Irritable Bowel Syndrome and presented their investigation to the professors and doctors. They won the Silver Award in the competition.

"第42屆陸運會於屯門鄧肇堅運動場順利舉行，一連兩天的比賽，共產生97面金牌及打破兩項大會紀錄！本年度復辦陸運會社際啦啦隊比賽，各社施展渾身解數，在賽前2個月已密鑼緊鼓地練習，力爭佳績。最後馬太社奪得啦啦隊總冠軍及全場總亞軍。而全場總冠軍則由囊括5個個人全場總冠軍的路加社奪得，班際總冠軍則為6A班。恭喜所有得獎的同學。陸運會頒獎禮邀請了本校榮休校長黃順琪校長擔任主禮嘉賓，他藉著悉日瑞芝體育的輝煌歷史，勉勵同學平衡學業和體育運動，做一個身心靈健康的瑞芝人！ The 42nd Athletics Meet finished smoothly at Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground. All of the athletes tried their utmosts to acheive the best results and 2 records were broken this year. The overall champion went to Luke House, the 1st runner-up was Matthew House. And 6A got the Inter-class champion. Having been suspended for a few years because of the pandemic, the well-liked Inter-house Cheering Team Competition was held again. Matthew House won the overall champion. Our former Principal, Mr. Wong Shun Ki was the guest of honor of the closing ceremony. He encouraged students to have a balanced and healthy school life by joining various physical activities. "

Our alumnus, Mr Wong Ka Chun, was admitted to the School of Engineering of the HKUST. Because of his excellent achievement of the HKDSE results, he was selected for the Dean of Engineering Scholarship 2023. Both the School Principal and his Mathemaics Teacher were invited to attend the Scholarship Presentation Ceremony to share the joy with him.

本年度班際長跑比賽順利完成，恭喜各獲獎班別！比賽當天各位老師在屯門河邊為學生吶喊鼓勵，又預備各式各樣的飲品等候大家跑回來，部分老師更親自落場，陪伴同學一齊跑步，齊上齊落。 The Inter-class Distance Running Competition was held in early November this year. Congratulation to all winning classes. About 300 students and even some teachers took part in the competition. While the runners gained the experience of running for 3.3 km, the cheering teams of different classes and the helpers all enjoyed two enjoyable and warm afternoons.

「感創敢為2.0-青年社創服務獎」本校同學榮獲金獎 Gold Award of Youth Impact Award
本校中五級學生林子恩、姜瑋婷、田穎曈、曾熙文、吳芷澄、高昕悅組成團隊，參與小童群益會及陳廷驊基金會合辦的「感創敢為2.0-青年社創服務獎」。經一年策劃和實行，透過製作手搖飲品去幫助ADHD小朋友，在50間學校的243個行動計劃中脫穎而出，成為最後8強，更在決賽透過清晰解說，與另外三隊同獲金獎。
Six F.5 students joined the "Youth Impact Award" co-hosted by The Boy's and Girl's Clubs Association of HK and The D. H. Chen Foundation. After a year of planning and implementation, the project aims to help children with ADHD through the production of handcrafted beverages. The project was selected as one of the final 8 out of 243 action plans from 50 schools. Our students were awarded the Gold Award for its clear explanation in the final presentation.

本校越野隊於7月12-14日在大嶼山進行訓練。各隊員用雙腳從東涌走到梅窩、大澳，又從伯公坳登上鳳鳳山山頂看日出，整個訓練營共完成了40公里路！大家都在訓練營體會到一個人可以跑得很快，但一班人可以走得更遠！ The training camp of our Cross Country Team was held from 12th to 14th of July on Lantau Island. After finishing more than 40 kilometers in three days, team members learnt the key message: together, we run further.

相隔四年，本校終於復辦周年水運會。雖然天氣時晴時雨，但不減學生對游泳的熱情。本年度新增浮板賽，讓初學游泳者也能參與其中。本校前體育老師陳美莉博士更率領一眾泳隊舊生回來參與校友接力賽，整個水運會成為一個歡樂的校友重聚日。
After years of waiting, our Annual Swimming Gala was finally resumed at Tuen Mun Swimming Pool. The Kickboard Race, the new event this year, provided chance for the beginners to enjoy swimming. Our former PE teacher, Dr. Chan Mee Lee, also came back with the alumni swimming team to participate in the Alumni Relay. Apart from swimming, we shared the joy of SCC reunion that day.

「2023數碼科學全港中學生影片製作比賽」的主題是「生活中的食品檢測」。參賽學生須自訂立研究課題，並在學校實驗室完成實驗以解決問題。學生亦要提交一段兩分鐘的影片及一份實驗報告，以展示他們的研究過程和科學傳意技巧。本校派出兩支中三學生隊伍參加比賽，並奪得初中組兩個優異獎 (第四、五名)。他們的視頻和作品名稱如下:
The theme of Digi-Science Video Production Competition for Hong Kong Secondary Schools 2023 is “Food Testing in Daily Life”. Participating students should decide their topic of investigation and complete the experimental work in the school laboratory to solve the problems. Students are also required to submit a two-minute video and an experimental report to show their investigative processes and scientific communication skills. Our school sent two teams of F.3 students to join the competition and they won two merit awards (4th and 5th place) in the Junior Secondary Division. 由公民及國民教育組、公民及社會發展教育科、以及中國歷史科合辦的「國情講座」於2023年5月8日高中周會時段舉行，有幸透過香港友好協進會邀請原港區全國政協委員陳萬雄博士為主講嘉賓，分享對歷史文化保育、軟實力和文化自信的體會，同學們獲益良多。

本校家長教師會舉辦家長興趣班，利用不同圖案的餐巾紙，運用剪裁、拼貼等技巧來設計一個獨一無二、專屬於自己的麻製手袋。過程中，來自不同班級的家長除了互相分享自己的設計，也順道交流教養子女的心得，無所不談，大家都樂其中。

於本校服務35年的孫永康助理校長去年榮休，校友會特於疫情穩定後為他舉行榮休晚宴，筵開16席。席間幾任校長細數與孫SIR共事的點滴，特別認同他的能幹、真誠和親和；多位校友亦感激孫SIR的啟蒙和提攜，帶領他們在不同方面有成長。最後全場同唱中英文校歌，並以 "Goodbye and thank you Mr Suen" 作結，場面温馨感人。

The “Current Affairs Morning Assembly” organised by the Civic Education Ambassadors was held in March Two Head Ambassadors (F.5 Hu Haitao and F.4 Chiu Wan Ki) shared the topic of “The Wave of Artificial Intelligence----ChatGPT” with students. They discussed the positive and negetive effects of ChatGPT on human life from multiple perspectives.
