"本校學生獲選參與救助兒童會東京深度交流之旅 Our F.6 Student visited Tokyo on Save the Children's Youth Exchange Tour"

"本校中六級田穎曈同學在二百多位申請者中脫穎而出，獲選為救助兒童會「青少年東京深度交流之旅」三十位參加者之一。於十一月初在東京考察了六日五夜，期間到訪中國駐日大使館、大東文化大學第一高校、SHIBUYA SKY、出席立教大學兒童權利論壇、參觀日本救助兒童會等。以下為她的分享:

很榮幸能入選是次交流，讓我能以有別於平常的角度造訪日本。過程中，我不僅透過參觀未來館、博物館等增廣見聞，更有幸與當地高中生交流，讓我深度認識日本文化，參與論壇也讓我了解到確保兒童權利的重要。在個人成長方面，考察前的日營和工作坊鍛鍊了我和同伴的韌力和解難能力，亦讓我發掘自己更多不同面向。在團體方面，大量富挑戰性的小組任務和活動，也提升了我們的溝通和社交能力，這群真誠、互相幫助並欣賞的組員正是我是次旅程的最大得着。

Coey Tin, a Form 6 student at our school, was selected as one of 30 participants for Save the Children’s ‘Youth Tokyo Exchange Tour’ from over 200 applicants. In early November, she spent six days and five nights in Tokyo, visiting the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Daito Bunka University Daiichi High School, SHIBUYA SKY, the Rikkyo University Children's Rights Forum, and Save the Children Japan. Below is her reflection on the experience:

""I am honored to have been chosen for this exchange tour, which provided me with a unique perspective of Japan. During the trip, I not only broaded my horizons through museum visits but also had the privilege of interacting with local high school students, gaining a deeper understanding of the Japanese culture. Participating in forums helped me appreciate the importance of safeguarding children's rights.

In terms of personal growth, the day camps and workshops prior to the study tour equipped me and my peers with resilience and problem-solving skills, allowing me to learn more about myself. The various challenging group tasks and activities also enhanced our communication and social skills. The friendships among our group—the genuine, helpful, and appreciative members—was the greatest reward of my trip."""
