Reading to Learn

The vision of the school library is to be a dynamic learning environment that fosters a culture of reading, inquiry, and lifelong learning. It aims to empower students and teachers with the resources and skills needed to access, evaluate, and utilize information effectively, preparing them for academic success and informed and creative learning community that keeps pace with the development of the world.

 

The mission of our school library includes:

  1. Support Learning and Curriculum: To provide resources and services that support the educational curriculum and enhance students' learning experiences.

  2. Foster Information Literacy: To teach students how to locate, evaluate, and ethically use information, equipping them with critical thinking and research skills.

  3. Encourage Reading for Pleasure: To promote a love of reading by offering a diverse collection of literature and facilitating engaging reading programs and activities.
