The school year is divided into two terms except F.6. There is one examination in each term; however, daily performance is also emphasized. The mark allocation of each form is as follows:

Home Economics and Computer & IT are offered in either the First Term or Second Term in Form One and Form Two

 

  1. F.1 to F.3 students who attain :
    1. Conduct A- or above, and
    2. Pass in all subjects, and
    3. Average 80 or above, and
    4. Recommended in the promotion meeting
  2. F.4 to F.6 students who attain :
    1. Conduct A- or above, and
    2. Pass in all subjects, and
    3. Average 75 or above, and
    4. Recommended in the promotion meeting

    Conduct Award (Those who got Grade A in conduct) 
    Services Award (Students nominated by teachers concerned, endorsed by the Prefect of Student Affairs, and approved by the Board of Student Affairs)
    Culture and Art Award (Students nominated by teachers concerned, endorsed by Extra-curricular Activities Committee, and approved by the Board of Student Affairs)

  2. Kowloon Tong Alliance Church Scholarship
  3. Yau Oi Church Scholarship (The best three who have attained the highest annual average marks in Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, and CES/LNS/CS in each form)
  4. PTA Scholarship (Student Award Scheme Gold Award holders)
  5. Alumni Association Scholarship
  6. The Most Improved Student Award

Criteria of Service Scholarship

Candidates should:

  1. be bright school leaders, such as student union staff, prefects, house staff, or counseling prefects, etc.
  2. participate enthusiastically in both school and inter-school services and make notable achievements,
  3. have played an outstanding leading role in various positions at school for at least two years,
  4. be nominated by teachers concerned, endorsed by the Prefect of Student Affairs, and finally approved by the Board of Student Affairs.

Culture and Art Scholarship

Candidates should:

  1. be remarkable in Arts, Home Economics, Music, Computer and IT, Drama, Speech, or in the realm of culture and arts at school,
  2. achieve excellent results in activities related to culture and art,
  3. contribute much to cultural and art-related activities,
  4. be nominated by teachers concerned, endorsed by the Prefect of Student Affairs, and finally approved by the Board of Student Affairs.

Physical Education Scholarship

Candidates should:

  1. have excellent results in Physical Education,
  2. performed brilliantly in the school sports teams,
  3. win remarkable awards in inter-school sports competitions
  4. contribute much to sports activities at school,
  5. be nominated by teachers concerned, endorsed by the Prefect of Student Affairs, and finally approved by the Board of Student Affairs.
